When my parents were here, we went to ride go-carts. The girls had a blast! There was a little ride for the little ones and all 3 of them liked it. It would sling you around on the two ends. K3 was laughing hysterically. It was so cute! They rode that a few times...
The two older girls were able to drive an actual go-cart for smaller kids. They thought they were big stuff! And, they're off...the competition begins and probably won't end for many years to come...
Note the serious expressions on their faces...they were in it to win it!
K1 rode in one of the bigger carts with Bryan and had a blast!
K2 rode with my dad and also had a blast, but held onto the side of the car very tightly the whole time! Unfortunately K3 was too small to ride, so she sat out with me and my mom. She never complained, though, and enjoyed watching them.
If I'd been taping this ride, we would have won $10,000 on America's Funniest Videos. K3 was all smiles going up. And then the first drop happened and her smile quickly quivered and became a frown. She couldn't decide whether to laugh or cry. She'd smile on the way up and frown on the way down. It was hilarious!!! But, in the end, she loved it and rode it multiple times with her hands raised. K2 remained white-knuckled with her hands tightly gripping the bar. Notice which child is missing from the picture...she is my least adventurous at this point and the most inclined to get motion sickness...
This one is kind of blurry, but it shows how K3 had her hands raised and K2 was gripping the bar...
It was a great day and we look forward to going back! Next time we'll have to squeeze in some putt-putt golf as well.
